ScaleJuneDown
Greeting Orchestra Pit and Scaledown mailing list subscribees.
Once more we bring you news of the latest Scaledown Live Performance Event which is to occur this Friday (27th June) at the King & Queen in London's beating heart (also known as Fitzrovia).
Performing for your edification will be the following:
Joe Williamson and The Distractions - Renowned improviser Mr Williamson returns with other free improv veterans (Paul May on Drums, Alex Ward on bass) to perform the norm-that is, bright left field pop
Ian R Watson, Pete Marsh, and Paul May - Classic free improv from fine artists with a leaning toward Miles Davis inspired jazz.
The Bouverie Trader - They're ambient, they're acoustic, but most importantly their Myspazz tagline reads "Ask yourself: What would The Ramones do?"
Arnold Lane and Portia Winters - Yet another collaboration featuring Mr Lane on electro acoustic percussion and Ms Winters lending her voice to the performance.
Alex Monk - Mr Monk makes a welcome return to Scaledown where he will play electronics and effects
As usual, entry is free but the beer isn't.
It all happens from 7pm at the King & Queen, 1 Foley Street, W1, full details and a handy map can be found here: http://www.theorchestrapit.com/scaledown
Thank you for your continuing support.
