Greeting's Orchestra Pit and Scaledown subscribees, we write to you at this time to inform you of a further exciting Live Musical Concert...

This Saturday (12th July) The Orchestra Pit presents The Recedents ably supported by Mike Adcock/Sylvia Hallett and The Glistening Cogs Of Greenland.

The Recedents are a free improvising "supergroup" comprising legendary blues/experimental guitarist Mike Cooper, saxophonist Lol Coxhill and drummer Roger Turner. Mike Adcock & Sylvia Hallett are veteran innovators who improvise using mostly acoustic instrumentation. The Glistening Cogs Of Greenland are an experimental unit who utilise laptops, steel guitars and a moog.

This will all occur at the Arts Theatre Club in Frith Street, London, W1D 4SQ from 7pm on Saturday 12th July 2008. Entrance is £6 on the door and £4 in advance (advance tickets can be obtained from our online shop at www.theorchestrapit.com/shop).
