March 2010
Friday 19th March
Appeared at the fifty ninth Scaledown (in no particular order):
Alan Lacroix – Mr Lacroix enthralled the Scaledown audience in the past with his dexterous and nimble guitar picking methods. Be tickled pink as he returns to the fold bringing with him a luxurious voice hitherto unheard at scaledown.
Arnold Lane and Shmil Frankel – Messrs Lane and Frankel bring to Scaledown a delectable concoction of superb pop melody, post punk, and jazz with intriguing improv tinges. Under the moniker BUCKET, they will be joined by Portia Winters on vocals. You will enjoy.
DND - Don't miss this extremely rare opportunity to see DND performing scaled down versions of their energetic and infectious rock songs. The lion has been tamed.
Arthur Brick – former Scaledownee Thom Driver returns with his friends in Arthur Brick for an evening of afrobilly slide punk from the depths! nope, no idea either, but it sounds fun!!
MJ Hibbett – Mark Hibbett makes his Scaledown bow sans Validators, with fingers crossed for excerpts from his hugely entertaining upcoming science fiction rock opera 'Dinosaur Planet'.
Joey Herzfeld – frontman of misanthropic cabaret-rock maximalists Hooverville gives his nasty little songs a rare solo airing with nothing but an accordion and/or harmonium to hide behind.
